FREE Webinar Chinese Scalp Acupuncture for Difficult Neurological Disorders and Long COVID Symptoms featuring Dr. Jason Hao

On September 13, 2023 we hosted Dr. Jason Hao for a FREE webinar, Chinese Scalp Acupuncture for Difficult Neurological Disorders and Long COVID Symptoms.

Scalp acupuncture has been used as a modern acupuncture technique for more than 50 years. Scalp acupuncture is an integrative medicine treatment that combines traditional acupuncture with modern neuroscience. Research shows that scalp acupuncture has significant efficacy in the treatment of central nervous system diseases, including cerebral palsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, brain injury, autism, phantom limb pain, complex regional pain, and long COVID symptoms.

Half a century of acupuncture practice has shown that all functions of the human brain have corresponding projection areas on the scalp, and by stimulating different projection areas of the scalp, they have a direct impact on the cerebral cortex, cerebellum, thalamus, hypothalamus and pineal gland, thereby improving their corresponding functional defects. Modern studies have shown that scalp acupuncture can significantly increase cerebral blood flow, improve brain cell metabolism, promote partial or complete compensation of brain function, and have a certain role in promoting the repair and functional plasticity of brain tissue.

Scalp acupuncture has shown its unique advantages in the treatment of post-COVID symptoms and other central nervous system diseases. Scalp acupuncture can not only improve the limb dysfunction caused by its neurological function defects, but also show great advantages in improving cognitive function, improving communication ability, and adjusting bad emotions, and greatly improving patients’ recovery ability. The treatment of difficult neurological diseases and long COVID symptoms has brought good news to the recovery of patients, enhanced the confidence of TCM acupuncturists, and laid a good foundation for domestic and foreign scientific research institutions and colleges to further study the clinical application and mechanism of head acupuncture.
