About this webinar:

In this webinar, our featured guest, Matt Callison, L.Ac. discusses the latest research on muscle motor entry points (MEP), their locations and effective needle acupuncture protocols. Many motor point loci share the same location as TCM’s “extra points”, which have already established needle techniques, depths and traditional functions for these points from the founding authors of traditional Chinese medicine. Many of these points have been treated for thousands of years before us.

Learn about the anatomical entrance of the motor nerve into the muscle tissue (MEP), which allows the practitioner to understand needle depth and technique. The motor entry point, an eclectic ashi point, should be included into other channel points to increase the efficacy of signaling within the neuro and myofascial channels.

Who Should Watch:

  • Practitioners and Students looking to learn more about Sports Acupuncture and treating athletes
  • Practitioners and Students looking gain a deeper understanding of Motor Entry Points
  • Practitioners and Students looking to add to their Treatment Tool Box

Disclaimer: This presentation has many cadaver specimen videos showing the motor entry point into the muscle. A cadaver warning announcement will be presented just prior to the video commencing.
