WHAT IS TELEMEDICINE?

Telemedicine is the exchange of medical information from one location to another using electronic communication for the practice of caring for patients when the provider and patient are not physically present with each other. Telemedicine has multiple applications and can be used for different services, which includes wireless tools, email, two-way video, smartphones, and other methods of telecommunications technology.

HOW CAN MY PATIENTS BENEFIT FROM TELEMEDICINE?

• Connect with patients quickly, efficiently and without travel 
• Continuing to serve patients during social distancing
• Check in on elder patients or those with health concerns
• Consult and provide tools for their health (i.e. Chinese herbal remedies, acupressure, CBD, etc.)

Telemedicine services may be provided, for example, through audio, text messaging, or video communication technology, including video conferencing software.
