Colorado Acupuncture Medical Reserve Corps (CAMRC) and the Medical Reserve Corps of Puerto Rico (MRCPR) are partnering to provide training in the acupuncture resource as an innovative capability for the MRCPR Unit and to support the recovery of psycho-social trauma in Puerto Rico post Hurricane Maria.
The training is in February 2019, and the goals have not yet been met. We still need to raise $680.00 to pay for local Spanish translators, and $1,400.00 to pay for meals/incidentals/hotel fees during the training. All the proceeds will be spent in Puerto Rico, therefore further boosting the local economy.
Donations can be made in-person by cash/check, or online through Acupuncture Innovation, 501c3 (2955 Valmont Road, Suite 100, Boulder, CO 80301). For a copy of the project details or to make a donation online, check out: ColoradoAcupunctureMRC.org or click on this link >>
